Striker, Steven Davies, has returned to Blackpool on a short term deal that lasts until the 12th of January. The 30 year old has spent his last two seasons at Rochdale, having left Blackpool for Sheffield United on loan and then Bradford permanently.
Blackpool will hope the experienced striker, who has played 165 times in the championship, scoring 40 goals, can answer their calls for a more threatening and clinical attack.
The Liverpool born striker saw his last spell at Blackpool overshadowed by off-field issues as the Seasiders struggled in their final years in the Championship. The animosity of the fans was too much for Davies during this time, as he advised his family that it would be best if they were to not attend home matches.
Nevertheless, he scored 9 times in his 48 appearances at Blackpool and will hope to add another element to what that strike force brings this season.
