Mark Cullen has today joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan for the rest of the season, a deal that coincides with his return to fitness. Cullen, whose contract runs out at the end of June, has the option of a further year in his contract, however questions still remain over his future at Blackpool. The striker who has struggled with injury in the last couple of seasons played a major role in Blackpool's promotion from League Two. Cullen was directly involved in 7 of the eight goals scored, but since long term injuries have seen him fall out of favour and have ultimately led to this move. He last played for Blackpool in November when he scored, helping Pool overcome Exeter in the FA Cup.
Cullen heads to Carlisle with the hope of picking up valuable game time and proving himself once more.
