Joe Bunney has joined Ryan McLaughlin in moving to Rochdale. The left back had his loan cut short and therefore returned to his parent club, which is Northampton. The agreement was then struck that he would be loaned out to Rochdale for the remainder of the season, a club at which he has played over 150 times for.
Bunney has fallen out of favour after an early season injury inhibited him from playing. Marc Bola has all but asserted the left back spot as his own since and it seems logical for Bunney to move on in search of further game time.
