Jay Spearing has signed a deal which keeps him at Blackpool for two years and his expeiance ,at having previously played for the likes of Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers, could prove pivotal next year. His first season by the seaside saw him make 35 appearances and his tough nature helped Pool to dominate many games in midfield as he built a strong partnership with Jimmy Ryan. Hopefully other out of contract players can now follow suit.
