Salford City's Michael Nottingham has joined Blackpool on a two year deal with the option of a further year. The 29 year old defender, who can play in both centre back and right back roles, predominantly featured at right back for Salford scoring 15 times in 93 appearances. Last season he helped Salford gain promotion to the National League which earned him a move to Blackpool. His close relationship to Curtis Tilt was possibly also a factor in his move to Blackpool with Tilt saying on twitter he was 'buzzing for you bro'. Nottingham said in his first interview that 'I do believe in my own ability' and that he was 'ready to give everything'.
