Left back Marc Bola has joined Blackpool on an initial one-year with the option of a further year after his contract ran out at Arsenal. The youngster, who is still only 20, spent last season on loan at Bristol Rovers, where he played 23 times including against Blackpool. Before that he has also spent time on loan at Notts County in League 2, so his experience, especially at his age, can not be faltered. The London born left back will hope to fill the gap that has been left by Colin Daniel and will add further depth to the Blackpool squad.
Bowyer added, “Marc is a very athletic player with a strong football background from his time at Arsenal. He played against us for Bristol Rovers last season and he fits the model of our recruitment. He’s young, hungry, determined to impress and will provide good competition in the defensive line.”
