The Englishman, who is almost a ghost of Blackpool past sending shivers up the backs of many a Blackpool fans spines, has signed a deal that keeps him at the club until the end of the season occupying the number 2 shirt. Previously appearing 19 times for the Seasiders, when they got relegated from the Championship, Daniels has struggled for game time in previous years so will be hungry to kick on and get going back at Blackpool.
The 24 year old has already been at his fair share of clubs, namely Wigan, Gillingham, Tranmere, Aberdeen, West Bromwich Albion and last season Rochdale. He played 18 times last year for Dale, predominantly playing at centre back, helping them to League One safety. But this isn't his only League one experience; in fact he has appeared 74 times in League One. He could also prove to be important due to Blackpool's lack in the centre back position and brings healthy competition in this area.
The return of Daniels is a scary realisation that the Oyston regime is far from gone and, with Bowyer gone too, who knows where Blackpool go from here, now that the transfer window is closed.
